DOCUMENTARY
Join me in the Cambrian Mountains as I search for the lesser-known phenomenon of soil piping. Using my 'soil pipe cam' I capture never-before-seen footage from inside the pipes, and explain how they form and why they can be dangerous.
Join me alongside the tidal River Severn in my latest film, where I explore how tides are created and watch the magnificent Severn Bore tidal wave roaring up the river. I look at why this wave has travelled all the way from just off the coast of Antarctica, and what other impacts the tides can have.
CINEMATOGRAPHY
Aside from proper, well thought-out productions, I also enjoy filming interesting and entertaining footage. This is mostly through timelapsing, but I have also been lucky enough to witness some amazing natural sights over the years, like spectacular weather phenomena and brutal storms Barra and Eunice when they wreaked havoc in Aberystwyth.
PROMOTIONAL
HecYeah Campaign and Hiking Society:
I produced videos for Hector's campaign for SU president at Aberystwyth University over a period of 2 months at the start of 2023. The campaign was successful, raising awareness of important issues like climate change. Hector passed two motions at the SU's AGM with a resounding majority and was eventually voted 2nd place with a total of 756 votes from ~1600 voters. During my time at Aberystwyth University, I have also produced a number of promotional videos to advertise the university hiking club.
CDV Global:
I worked with CDV Global over a period of 6 months, designing and editing short promos for their social media pages to promote their initiatives. Below you can see promos for their 'Project DevLink' and 'Social Impact' initiatives that I put together.
DRAMA
Agent Brennan:
Agent Brennan is a fictional character we've designed, played by my brother Nathan. In these short, three-episode series, Agent Brennan comes to terms with his arch nemesis Lord Lasse, played by my brother Luke. Agent Brennan is a culmination of all my creative work, with story, camera, direction, editing and music all products of my imagination.
We hope to continue to make more Agent Brennan series in the future.
