28/02/2020 - A Dry Frost

Some aesthetic photos of ice crystals growing on the windows on the cabin in Sweden. It was about -10°C when these were taken, and early in the morning.

I'm not entirely sure why such a delicate frost formed but here's my theory: When the air is already really cold and dry, there isn't any more moisture to precipitate out as the temperature drops in the night, so much more delicate frosts can form, unlike the thick frosts that form in the UK where the air is almost always at almost 100% saturation.
