Although it wasn't the most extreme flood event of the month, it was significant enough to block some riverside footpaths and disrupt my daily exercise, so it deserves a mention on the blog in my eyes. The river peaked at 3.14m at the Mythe Gauge during the morning of the 23rd Feb 2021. Coupled with the sunshine of a 'heatwave' that we are having, it made for some interesting and unusual photographs. Hopefully this warm spell dries everything up and opens up some more footpaths to explore!
