This photo, taken on Newport Beach in Pembrokeshire shows a satisfyingly textbook cloudscape, with convective cumulus clouds forming in a perfect line over the land from Strumble head, showing how the clouds grow as they move over the land. To add to the picture, they're seen in front of cirrostratus clouds on the horizon from the imposing frontal system that hit the day after as part of a small but powerful cyclone.
