15/07/2021 - A sea of lenticulars

The clear skies were soon interrupted by a sea of lenticular clouds as the wind blowing over the mountains created waves in the atmosphere that forced humid air to rise and cool below its dew point to form these amazing looking clouds that stretched to the horizon over the Scottish mountains.
