On the way down Snowdon on Tuesday I spotted some gorgeous Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds to the south. These clouds resemble cartoon-like ocean waves and are caused by differences in wind speed at different altitudes causing the clouds to bend into a wave shapes. They made this truly spectacular view even more spectacular!
